Gilmore

DSH male DOB Aug 12, 2024

This happy young boy would fit into almost any home. He is lower energy, gentle and plays nicely with toys and humans.  Gilmore shows no interest in going outdoors- he is content to casually watch birds and squirrels from inside. He allows being picked up and carried and is learning to be a lap cat. Gilmore enjoys snuggling up to his people at night and will sleep quietly all night and not wake anyone in the morning.  He likes to follow people around the house, occasionally initiating conversation.  People's food does not interest him nor does he gobble his food. He doesn't mind having his nails trimmed and is clean with his litter box. Gilmore could be an only cat if someone was at home most of the time to keep him company. Or he would be good company for other pets in a home because he is passive, respectful of their space and does not initiate play.

Gilmore was found wandering on a rural property. He was in distress from an upper respiratory infection, which is probably why he was abandoned. He was treated with antibiotics and has fully recovered.
