Champagne
Male DSH
DOB October 11 25
Champagne is a highly curious little guy who loves playing with his kitten siblings and his foster family's dog. He’s the biggest and rowdiest of the litter, always up for a game of chase or a wrestling match, but he also adores rubbing up against people for attention and is a big fan of a warm lap. He has a good middle-of-the-road energy level. He’s totally fine being picked up and only gets squirmy when he’s ready to get back to playing. He purrs like a motorboat when you give him affection. When he’s sleepy, he’ll gently lick your hands and snuggle close. Champagne is unphased by kids as young as two, as long as they handle him gently. Loud noises and general household commotion don’t bother him—he was even curious about the vacuum cleaner, though he didn’t get too close. Champagne must have a feline friendly animal companion in his new home; either a same aged kitten or a young energetic cat. He’d also do well with a dog that really loves cats (not just one that tolerates them), since he enjoys rubbing up against the dog and even tries to play with their tail. When he’s ready for a nap, Champagne actively seeks out attention and a warm place to cuddle. He loves curling up in a “cuddle puddle” with his siblings or another cat who’s willing to snuggle. Champagne is very tidy in the litter box. He has no food aggression and eats with enthusiasm—fitting for the biggest of the bunch. He loves to be brushed and is great for nail trims, especially if you take your time and don’t try to do all four paws at once.
