Cheeky as her name suggests, has a large personality (in a petite body). In new situations she growls at everything and every person she meets but doesn't mean any of it. Even other pets ignore her antics. Once settled in she enjoys being picked up and her purr shifts to high volume. She likes snuggles and play time ..including bounding on the bed at night so a stash of toys are needed to entertain her. She is high energy and would enjoy a young male cat playmate, she is too much drama for females. She met a dog and of course growled - a cat friendly dog would soon be her friend. Surprisingly nail trims are easily done - verbalizing aside.  Cheeky is into everything, she would happily sample anyone's unattended food. She is passionate about canned food and appears whenever she hears a can.  She is very interested in the outdoors and if a door was held open she would go out.  The NHKR adoption team can explain how to discourage this.   Cheeky needs a home that will match her high energy and people to understand her dramatic vocalizing.
