Meet Custard — A Little Sweetness with a Whole Lot of Heart!
If you're looking for a kitten with a gentle soul, a cuddly heart, and just a dash of silly, Custard might be your perfect match! When Custard first arrived at his foster home, he was a shy little fellow who needed a few days to feel safe enough to venture out of hiding when humans came into the room,
but that didn’t last long. He bonded quickly with 2 other foster kittens and although he initially was assertive and attempted to be dominant, he was easily redirected and they have become tight besties, often seen grooming each other in a kitten pile. Custard is a bit of an old soul in a kitten body with a shining personality. His favourite place to be? Snuggled right up against his person' s neck, sleeping on her or tucked in beside her. He's a firm believer that personal space is overrated and that the best naps are the ones shared with someone you love!
Don't let his mellow side fool you, though. Custard is very active and enjoys playing with his foster roommates just as much as he enjoys entertaining himself. He's perfectly happy joining in the kitten shenanigans, then taking some well-deserved time out to recharge. You'll often find him perched at the top of his cat tree, keeping an eye on the neighbourhood through the window, or curled up in his favourite fluffy cat bed, enjoying a little grooming session followed by a cozy nap. He's mastered the art of living the good life!
Custard is also quite the tidy little gentleman. He's very particular about his litter-box manners, and if his foster friends forget to cover up after themselves, he'll kindly step in to finish the job. Someone has to maintain standards after all! When it comes to housework, Custard is always ready to lend a paw. Sweeping or vacuuming? He will happily chase the broom or follow the vacuum around as it goes about its business. Who needs a cleaning service when you have a kitten supervisor?
Custard may take a little time to warm up in a new environment, but give him patience, kindness, and a cozy place to snuggle, and you'll discover a truly special companion. He's a gentle, affectionate boy who will reward your love with cuddles, companionship, and plenty of entertainment. Custard must have the companionship of another young kitten in his new home; ideally he is best suited for adoption with one or both of his foster mates Pudding and Jello. He has enjoyed playing with children and can handle a busy household as long as there is time and attention for him. He has not yet been introduced to dogs.
