Ferris Wheel
Male DSH
Born: May 14, 2025
Ferris Wheel, affectionately known as Ferris, is a shy and sensitive little guy who is still building his confidence. He’s not a huge fan of being picked up and would rather sit nearby than be the center of attention. But once you earn his trust, you’ll see a gentle and playful side that’s absolutely worth the wait.
He’s got all the classic kitten energy and loves to wrestle with his littermates, especially Bumper and Plinko. While he doesn’t seek out constant affection, he enjoys neck rubs, sitting close to his people, and quietly observing from the sidelines. His idea of bonding is more about hanging out than being draped all over you.
Ferris has been around children but doesn’t enjoy loud environments or too much handling. He will squirm away when overwhelmed and needs a home with older children and/or adults. He is indifferent to the adult cats in his foster home and gives them space when they signal to him to leave them be. He is nervous with the foster family dog and a dog-free home will be ideal for him. Ferris must have a feline companion in his new home, either a similar aged kitten to buddy with or a young adult to mentor him.
One of his cutest quirks is carrying puff-ball toys around in his mouth like little trophies. He uses the litter box reliably, has no food aggression, and while he’s quite squirmy for nail trims, this can be improved with time and gentle practice.
Ferris would thrive in a quiet home with calm, patient adults and a confident, friendly cat who can help show him the ropes. He doesn’t need constant attention, and in return, he’ll bring quiet companionship, gentle play, and a lot of quiet charm to your home.
