Gausman is a cheeky young boy with a spirited personality. He can be prone to mischief and needs lots of attention and a stimulating environment to keep him busy and entertained. He is high energy and loves rough and tumble games with other cats who will play with him, and cat toys (or anything he can make into a toy) that move so he can chase them. He loves to play fetch with crinkle or soft cat balls and will chase and return them to his person until he is tired out. Gausman craves attention from his people and is a great lap snuggler, often wanting to be held and cuddled up around someone's neck. He ignores personal boundaries and sees everything and everyone around him as his own. Gausman will sleep under the covers with his people, if invited and he greets his family at the door when they return from being out of the house. He is very chatty and has lots to say about everything, as well as being an enthusiastic helper with all tasks...he is a very curious cat! Gausman tries hard to be friends with the older cats in his foster home but they sometimes find him too assertive in his efforts to engage them in play. He understands cat hierarchy but does not always want to follow it and does some posturing with other cats. He must have a feline friendly animal companion in his new home who will engage in play with him, ideally another high energy similarly aged kitten. Gausman has had some positive interactions with a cat friendly dog and could be matched with a playful pup. His new household should be a busy one with multiple older children and/or adults who have time and energy to interact with him. He rewards his people with endless cuddles and many laughs at his antics.
