Kissa
DSH female
DOB: October 2, 2023
Kissa recently had her kittens in NHKR care and is now ready for a family of her own. She joined 3 other adult cats in her current foster home and was initially a little overwhelmed and preferred to stay in her own room. Once settled she quickly took it upon herself to be a surrogate mommy to one of them and frequently grooms her new friend. Kissa is very social and enjoys the company of the people she lives with. She feels most comfortable being near them, either sitting and sleeping beside them on the sofa or with her humans on the bed. Visitors to the home provide a new and fun event for her and she has happily spent time with children between the ages of 8 and 10 years. She has also begun to enjoy being picked up and carried around in short increments of time.
Kissa has a very chill demeanour and although she enjoys playing chase with the other cats she is very independent, spending most of her play time amusing herself with toys or trying to engage her people in play. Kissa has a good appetite and is tidy with food and water. She is very thorough in the litter box,
often trying to clean the sides of her litter box as well as covering up any evidence. Grooming is allowed when she’s resting near her person and best accomplished during her beloved nap/cuddle time. Nail trimming is best done with 2 people but accepts it without argument. She is very respectful of the furniture and absolutely loves scratching on both the cat trees and can be very vigorous with them. Kissa would enjoy a home where she is the only cat or as a companion to other adult felines.
