Moira is a sweet, easy-going young lady with a gentle soul and a loving heart. She’s attentive to her people and enjoys quietly being part of your daily routine, whether that’s relaxing nearby or soaking up affection. Moira adores being pet and brushed — the moment you start, her purr motor turns on instantly and her tail begins to wag gently. She’s comfortable being picked up and handled for shorter periods of time. Moira is a lower-energy cat although she does enjoy playing with toy mice, chasing wands and having an occasional wrestle with the other cat in her foster home. When she’s not playing, you can often find her relaxing up high in a cozy perch or cat tree, happily watching the world go by from a sunny window view.

Moira is comfortable with getting her nails trimmed. She uses a vertical cat scratching post. She is tidy with her food and appreciates a deep litter box as she enjoys digging. While Moira can be a little cautious when meeting new people, she usually just needs a short amount of time to observe from a safe distance before she’s ready to come out and say hello. Once she warms up, she’s happy to make an appearance and quietly join the company. Moira also tolerates quieter, gentle young children well, especially when they respect her calm nature and give her space to settle in at her own pace. She gets along well with the other cat in her foster home and has the potential to get along with a feline-friendly dog.
