Orange Crush

Male DSH

Born: May 21, 2025

Orange Crush is a high-energy, wild-at-heart kitten with a soft side he keeps just a little guarded. He’s cautious at first and can seem a bit aloof, but once you start petting him the right way (approaching from the side instead of overhead is the secret), his purr kicks in like a lawn mower - and it’s the best sound in the world. This guy is always on the move. He loves to wrestle with his sister Sunny-D, chase toys, leap from his cat tree, and zoom around the house with his signature enthusiasm. He can easily be picked up, but in typical kitten fashion doesn’t stay still for long. He does enjoy gentle, respectful affection and makes his need for attention known with his impressively loud voice. He’s especially fond of cardboard boxes, puff balls, and any small toy he can really sink his teeth into. When playing with Crush, redirection is a must to avoid him thinking hands or feet are toys, but he picks up on this quickly since he’s a clever boy. Older children who understand how to play with cats using toys instead of hands or feet would be ideal companions. He does not get along with the foster resident dog and was very vocal and defensive in response, so a dog-free home is strongly recommended. Orange Crush uses the litter box, has no food aggression, and tolerates nail trims even if he’s not thrilled by them. He would thrive in a quiet home with older kids or feline-loving adults who understand how to build trust and give him space to bloom. He must have a feline companion in his new family and he would love to be adopted with his sister Sunny-D - they’re great friends, keep each other entertained, and balance each other out beautifully. With some time, patience, and a toy-filled environment, Orange Crush will reward you with his rumbly purrs, wild play sessions, and goofy little quirks.
