Skee-Ball
Male DSH
Born: May 14, 2025
Skee-Ball is the ultimate velcro kitten. He is the first to greet you, the first to explore, and absolutely the first to demand your attention. Despite being the tiniest of his litter, he is packed with personality and confidence. He adores people of all ages and has never met a lap he didn’t want to climb into.
He’s high energy and loves to wrestle with his siblings, but if given the choice between playing with other kittens or following a human around the room, he’ll choose the human every time. He thrives on affection and wants to be part of everything you're doing. He has been known to fall asleep on his back, cradled in someone's lap, and loves to be cuddled close.
Skee-Ball would be a great friend for older children who can keep him entertained. He is learning that hands and feet are not toys, as he sometimes playfully nips to signal that he wants attention. He is comfortable around other cats, and he loves the foster family dog, eagerly running back for more nose nudges after every playful push. Because he doesn’t fear dogs, any canine friend must be cat-savvy and respectful.
He was supplemented with bottle feeding when younger, and as a result, he sometimes tries to suckle on clothes when he’s hungry. This is easily redirected toward food or toys. He’s also quite vocal and has no problem letting you know what he wants with his delightfully chatty little voice.
Litter box use is excellent, he has no food aggression, and he tolerates nail trims, though he’s a bit squirmy about it.
Skee-Ball would enjoy an active household with another playful kitten and humans who are around often. He must have a feline-friendly animal companion in his new home. He is not suited for a quiet or solitary lifestyle—this guy needs a buddy and a crowd to charm.
