Sunny D

Female DSH

Dob: May 21, 2025

Sunny D is available as a deposit to adopt this weekend to ensure full recovery from her recent spay.

Sunny-D is a bold, bouncy bundle of fun who is as affectionate as she is playful. This curious little girl is full of energy, always ready to explore something new or launch into a high-speed wrestling match with her brother, Orange Crush. Agile and athletic, she’s a jumper with serious spring and absolutely thrives when she has toys to chase and pounce on. Sunny D has a strong personality and isn’t afraid to let you know what she wants, often using her sweet little chirpy voice to call out for attention or while zooming around the room. While she doesn't love to be cuddled, she doesn't mind being picked up, and when she's tired from playing, she'll happily curl up in a lap for a well-earned snooze. Headbutts and flops are her signature love moves, and her purr sounds like a tiny engine rumbling away. Sunny-D has been around kids as young as four and is confident and sociable with them, as long as they know how to play appropriately using toys and not hands or feet - she can get overstimulated and needs redirection to avoid playful nipping. She’s not too interested in the elderly resident cat, and although she tolerates the family dog, she would be happiest in a dog-free home. She’s consistent with her litter box habits, covers things up well, and has no food aggression. She tolerates nail trims, though she’s a little squirmy. Sunny-D would thrive in a home that invests in lots of toys and interactive playtime. She must have a cat friend in her new family and would absolutely love to be adopted with her brother Orange Crush - they’re the best of wrestling buddies and keep each other entertained (and out of trouble). This pair would do well in a home with older kids or cat-loving adults who can commit to regular play and affection. Sunny-D brings all the sunshine, all the time.
