Tilt-a-Whirl

Male DSH

Born: May 14, 2025

Tilt-a-Whirl is a gentle, shy girl who takes a little time to come out of her shell, but once she does, she becomes the ultimate lapcat. She has a soft, creaky meow and a big, rumbling purr that kicks in as soon as she feels safe and loved. She’s easily startled by new situations, but she gains confidence from her bolder littermates and warms up beautifully with patience.
She loves to wrestle with her siblings, is quite the jumper, and has a playful, athletic side that shines once she’s comfortable. Like most kittens, she has plenty of energy but nothing out of the ordinary.
Her favorite place to nap is curled up in a lap or cuddled close to one of her siblings. She thrives on calm companionship and would much rather sleep next to a person than be on her own.
Tilt  has been around small children but is more comfortable with older kids (around 8 and up) who can give her the space she needs to feel safe. She ignores the resident elderly cat but is not a fan of the family dog, and while she’s learning to tolerate him, a dog-free home or one with a very calm, cat-neutral dog would be ideal. She really shines in quieter environments with a steady routine.
One of her early quirks was suckling on soft toys when she felt anxious, and she continues to find comfort in companionship. Her new home must include another confident kitten or young cat.
She uses the litter box without issue, has no food aggression, and tolerates nail trims (though she’s not a huge fan). With the right home and a bit of patience, Tilt  will reward you with deep trust, warm snuggles, and plenty of purrs.
