Coleslaw is a loving kitten with a big personality. He is a goofy boy who adores every person and animal he meets - he is instantly everyone’s best friend. He has almost no understanding of personal space and tries to be as close to his people as he can. This involves following them around everywhere, taking every time someone sits down as an invitation for a lap snuggle, and asking to be picked up and carried around. Coleslaw is an absolute lover and gives delightful kitten kisses and purrs constantly. He requires a lot of attention and will cry if he finds himself alone. He is confident and curious about everything around him; he has no fear of household noises or activity, so much so that kitten proofing must be done to ensure he doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t, such as open cupboard doors. Coleslaw adores being petted and cuddled and thinks every person he meets should instantly pick him up and love him. He is high energy and constantly on the move with his kitten friends, running and chasing each other or toys. He loves wrestling and does not always listen to the cues the quieter kittens give him and so he must have a kitten companion with a similar temperament in his new home. His energy and zero personal space policy overwhelms the adult cats in his foster home. Coleslaw enjoys playing with school-aged children. He is learning restraint and will need family members who will consistently teach him and reinforce that fingers and toes are not toys, as he can get overexcited when playing. He has not had exposure to dogs, but his personality is such that with proper introductions to a feline-friendly canine, he would be fine. He would love to be adopted with one of his current kitten mates and will bring his new family much joy and laughter.
