Her favourite place to nap is tucked away in her cozy cat house. She loves spending time perched on a windowsill with the window open, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors. In the evenings, she'll often settle nearby for a nap while you relax. While she's not much of a lap cat and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, she enjoys being close to her people and would happily sleep beside you or at your feet if invited. In the morning, Twyla patiently and quietly waits outside the bedroom door, ready for breakfast and the start of a new day. Twyla is a tidy girl who keeps her food area neat and has excellent litter box habits. She enjoys being brushed and uses both a vertical sisal scratching post and cardboard scratchers appropriately. Nail trims are easiest with two people, as she can be a little unsure about the process. Like many cats, Twyla is cautious when meeting new people or encountering unfamiliar household noises. Given a little time and patience, her sweet personality shines through. She would thrive in a quieter home with calm, older children who can respect her gentle nature. Twyla has also shown that she gets along well with other cats during her time in foster care, making her a wonderful candidate for a home with feline companions.
