Mamma Mia
Female DSH
DOB April 7, 2023
Mia is a lovely girl who enjoys playing and chasing soft cat toys and springs. She will carry her favourites around in her mouth and then drop them in a suitable pounce location, or bring them to her people to encourage playtime. Mia loves to feel included and part of the family...she isn't a lap cat but wants to be close to her people. She is not keen on being picked up for long periods of time but this is improving with practice and repetition. She would enjoy a family of adults and/or older children; she is not interested in interacting with young children and will hide from them, but is curious about and will hang around when new adult visitors arrive. Mia is very chatty and always wants the last word. She occasionally says “no” and “ok” during conversations, which her fosters find both hilarious and endearing. If encouraged she will often start off sleeping at the end of her person's bed but eventually goes off to do her own thing during the night, reappearing in the morning; she’s always first one up and letting everyone know it's breakfast time. She is very food motivated so needs a strict feeding schedule to keep her trim figure. She is tidy with her food and her litter. She doesn't like getting her nails trimmed and it does require 2 people. Mia also initially objects to the cat carrier, however once in she settles and is a great traveller to her foster cottage. She adapts very well to new surroundings and is an easygoing cat when she is with her trusted people. Mia has enjoyed being the only cat in her foster home as she can receive all the attention there is to give.
