Mr. Tubbs

Mr. Tubbs was previously adopted as a NHKR kitten.  He was returned to us because he was not compatible with the female cat in his new home. Upon returning to NHKR Mr. Tubbs has been on a successful weight loss journey and he is a much happier cat. In his foster home he does not overeat or want to eat people's food. He is clean with his litter box although he doesn't always get everything buried and there is no struggle trimming his nails. Mr. Tubbs has no desire to go outdoors, instead he is a lower energy boy who is content to observe birds and squirrels. He entertains himself by playing gently and at times enthusiastically with his toys and people. If there is an available lap , he is there to curl up for a snooze or roll around receiving tummy rubs. Mr. Tubbs is more aware than the average male cat so he doesn't readily accept female cats bossing him.  He would be happy to be an only cat -  believing that he is the king, or with a cat friendly dog for company. He is friendly with all ages of people and is not shy in new situations. Mr. Tubbs is looking for a relaxed family looking for a big loveable companion.
