Sparkler
Male DSH
DOB October 11 25
Sparkler tends to hang back a little at first and can get overlooked beside his bigger, bolder siblings. He’s one of the smaller kittens in the group, but don’t be fooled - he’s still an orange cat after all, and once you get to know him, he’s got personality to spare. His charm comes through in quieter moments, and those who take the time to get to know him are always rewarded with his warm, cheeky side. He may start off slow, but once he gets going, he loves to run, jump, and zoom. One of his favorite games is hiding under the couch and bursting out at his unsuspecting siblings. He’s a medium-energy kitten with a good mix of playful bursts and calm snuggly downtime. After a round of play, he’s happy to curl up with his siblings for a nap. Sparkler loves being held and will snuggle right in once he trusts you. He has a particularly sweet habit of resting his head on your hands if you’re working on a laptop and falling asleep there, even if you keep typing. It’s not the best recipe for productivity, but it’s worth it. He absolutely loves his sister Confetti and often curls up beside her for naps. Once he gets going, his purr is loud and steady, and he melts right into affection. Sparkler has been around kids as young as two and handled it well, but would likely do best with slightly older children who can appreciate a quieter kitten that may not love loud noises all the time. He wasn’t initially thrilled with the resident dog or cat, but with proper introductions, he’s now totally comfortable. He plays with the elderly cat and actively engages the dog in play, so any dog in his new home should be prepared for a cat who doesn’t just keep to himself. Sparkler must have a feline friendly animal companion in his new home, ideally another kitten or a young playful cat. Sparkler is food motivated and may try to get into food he shouldn’t, so his new family will need to keep an eye on that. Sparkler is tidy in the litter box and has no issues with brushing or nail trims.
