Canola is an affectionate and handsome young boy who has never met a person he didn’t want to be friends with! He is social and loves being close to his people. With his loud, happy purr, Canola is always ready for some quality cuddle time. He loves curling up on a lap or settling in beside you, often with his tail happily wagging away. Canola is also a natural greeter. When guests arrive, he is quick to come out and say hello, eager to see who has come to visit. His friendly, outgoing personality makes him a wonderful companion who will happily be part of the household action. When he’s not busy socializing, Canola loves to play. Anything he can chase is sure to catch his attention, whether it’s a toy wand, balls on a tracker, or his favourite soft cat toys. He doesn’t mind being picked up - even by young children despite his large size. Every now and then, he gets a burst of energy and gallops around his foster’s house like a horse. After playtime, you’ll often find him relaxing on top of his cat tree, where he enjoys having a great view of everything happening around him. Canola is also an avid window watcher. He loves sitting on a windowsill beside an open window, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells of the outside world. Canola eats primarily dry food but does enjoy having wet food as an occasional treat. Canola would do best as the only cat in his forever home. He may have potential to live with a cat-friendly dog with proper introductions. He has spent time with young children in his foster home and has done well playing with them. With his affectionate nature, playful personality and love of people, Canola would make a wonderful addition to a loving family. He’s ready to fill his forever home with purrs, cuddles, playtime and plenty of companionship!
