Michi has worked very hard at his foster home and has made amazing progress! He has made great strides in building his confidence and his curious and playful nature is more apparent every day. Michi loves affection from his foster family, on his terms, and is especially loving at nighttime, often sleeping with his foster mom. He likes to snuggle under the blankets and make biscuits while being petted. During the day, he prefers to either nap on the top of the cat tree or snuggle with the adult cats in a cozy cat bed.

Michi loves his mentor adult cats and will often seek out interaction with them, playing chase, wrestling or grooming each other. He is learning that being pet by his foster family is fun and he is working on approaching them when he wants some love. Michi is a high energy kitten and loves to play chase with other cats which often ends in a wrestling match - he is not intimidated by the older cats. Michi also loves to run around chasing balls or springs and is especially fond of climbing or jumping on higher places. While he is getting used to the household noises, if he is startled, Michi will run away and retreat under furniture but quickly comes out to investigate. Michi loves treats, which is helpful during training.

He is not a fan of being picked up but will tolerate it for a short time and he will let you know when he wants to get down. Michi needs a calmer home with older children or adults only who have the patience and willingness to work to continue the progress Michi has made to date. He must have a feline companion in his new home: another active kitten or adult kitten friendly cat would be ideal to mentor Michi.
