Astro

DMH Female

DOB  Feb 21, 2025

Astro is the shyest of her litter, but also the biggest sweetheart. She has an irresistibly cute face and loves to rub against your legs before flopping onto her back for belly rubs. Her purr is surprisingly loud, and once she’s had her playtime, she’s perfectly happy to curl up quietly next to you.

New experiences can make her hesitate, and she’s not very social with the foster family dog just yet, but her confidence grows a little more each day. She does get along with the senior cat in her foster home. She gets playful and rowdy with her sisters but is usually the first to settle in for a nap. Astro would thrive in a quieter home with a gentle, playful adult cat or kitten and people who appreciate a more mellow companion.

Her overall energy level is on the lower side (though she still has plenty of kitten antics in her). She doesn’t mind being picked up but really shines when she’s flopping over to roll around and ask for pets. She’s great with people and kids of all ages but prefers the calm, quiet kind over high-energy play. Rough handling isn’t her thing—she’s all about soft cuddles on her terms.

Astro loves high perches, like chairs, knees, or cat trees, but if she’s unsure, she’ll retreat under furniture to observe from a distance. She’s a follower, not a leader, but she still wants to be part of the action once she feels safe. She’s the last kitten to approach visitors, but once she warms up, she’s friendly and sweet. Nail trims are a bit wiggly, but manageable with practice. She’s not the tidiest in the litter box but does well overall and has no food aggression. One of her cute quirks is dipping her paw in the water bowl and licking it off. Her favorite toy?... The tunnel with bells inside.

Astro is perfect for a calm, loving home with gentle people who will give her time to blossom and lots of cozy spots to curl up in.
