Other Kittens & Cats

Nova
DMH Female
DOB Feb 21, 2025
Nova has a purr you can hear across the room and a personality just as big. She’s incredibly friendly, always up for a game, and just as happy to curl up in a cozy lap for a snuggle. She’s confident and easygoing, even around loud, active kids, calm dogs, and older cats.
One of her funniest quirks is that she loves to stand upright like a little meerkat when she’s playing. She’s full of kitten energy and loves to wrestle with her siblings and race around the house. But when she’s ready to relax, she’ll climb into your lap (or right up to your face) for a nap, purring contentedly the whole time.
Nova adjusts quickly to new environments and would thrive in a busy household. She was a little unsure of the foster family's dog at first but now she plays with him or just lounges calmly while he sniffs her. She’s had lots of positive interactions with children aged 2 to 13 and was a favorite with everyone.
She does enjoy nibbling on fingers and toes during playtime, so younger kids will need a little guidance to redirect her to toys, but she’s always gentle and eager to engage. She loves being brushed, watching the world go by through the window, and snuggling up at night (just be warned, her purr might keep you awake!).
Nova is excellent with nail trims (especially her front paws) and has clean and tidy litter box habits. She’s curious, cuddly, social, and balanced—never too wild, never too shy. Nova must have a feline friendly companion in her new home; another kitten, active young adult cat, or friendly dog. Nova would be the perfect fit for a family that wants a playful, loving companion to share in all the action and all the quiet moments too.
