Mug
Male DSH
DOB April 11, 2026
Mug is a confident, easygoing guy with a handsome white face and the build of a kitten who's going to grow into a big boy. He's people-oriented without being clingy, and he's got a goofy streak a mile wide. Laid back overall, he fancies himself a jumper, though his coordination hasn't caught up to his ambition yet, which makes for good entertainment. He's left-pawed, so watch which paw leads when he swats at a toy or reaches out to gently scratch on the scratching post. He's happy to be picked up and held. He prefers to sleep on his own, but he likes to stay close by, in the same room, near his person. He also sprawls in all sorts of funny positions when he sleeps, and he used to enjoy lounging in the litter box, though he's grown out of that phase. Where Mug really stands out is with other people and pets. He's completely comfortable with a resident elderly dog and an elderly cat, and he's been around kids as young as three and took it all in stride. When he's had enough attention, he simply removes himself rather than getting snippy. His litter habits are good, and the one sticking point is nail trims: he gets squirmy, so two people and a few treats are recommended. Mug must have a feline friendly animal companion in his new home (a kitten, energetic young adult cat or dog), since he needs company. He's a great fit for families, including those with young children, and his laid-back temperament makes him forgiving of a busier household.
