Tulip

Female DSH

DOB March 30, 2026

Tulip has blossomed! After her littermates were adopted, Tulip’s true personality has emerged - she is showing her confidence, curiosity and cuddliness. Tulip quickly integrated herself with the foster’s three adult cats and is respectful when they let her know they have had enough kitten antics. She especially loves to attack their tails and joining afternoon cat nap time.

She quicklylearned to drink from the cat fountain and helps herself to their food. Once the adult cats are tired of playing, Tulip is content to play by herself. She can often be found wrestling with larger plush cat toys and loves to bunny kick them. She is very fast and loves to run around chasing balls or springs that she can bat around on the floor or ones thrown by his foster. Tulip loves to chase things dangling and is not intimidated by the older cats when trying to catch the string.

Curiosity is another of Tulip traits - she is a nosy kitten who wants to know what you are doing and follows the big cats as they investigate happenings. Tulip loves attention once she has burned off her energy - she has learned that a warm lap is a great place for a snuggle and a nap. She has discovered her voice and will meow if she is looking for attention. Tulip is especially affectionate in the morning and bedtime - she will snuggle up with her foster in bed for pets and purrs very loudly. She won’t let you stop until she is ready and once she has enough affection, she will let you know and be off on her next adventure. If she is startled or doesn’t want to be picked up, Tulip will retreat under furniture or in the tunnel but will quickly come out to investigate. A taller scratcher is recommended as Tulip enjoys the one in her foster home. Tulip needs a home with cat knowledgeable children/adults and an active kitten or older kitten friendly mentor cat to keep her entertained and continue her excellent progress.
