Paddy is a large sweetie. He loves to be near people, in their lap or tucked up against them - but he is not keen on being picked up and held for too long. He is a wonderful conversationalist with a soothing musical voice.  Paddy is a low energy calm boy with the odd spurt of action chasing his toys. He uses a vertical sisal scratcher and occasionally will be at the top of the climber. At night on the bed he snuggles up close or moves off to the side. During the day, for his power naps he likes to be totally under covers  - he will even flip a cat bed over and sleep under it like a turtle. Paddy will politely ask for some canned food as a side to his kibble - he doesn't have this every day. Trimming his nails is no problem and he is clean with his food area and litter box -  he requires a larger box. Paddy is happy indoors and never tries to go outside. 
Paddy recently had dental work done and he has 3 remaining good teeth. He lost weight after coming into NHKR care and can now easily groom himself to keep his soft coat sparkling white.

Paddy was raised with dogs and he has no issues with other cats.  He will make friends with anyone especially if they let him sleep in their lap!
