Toshi has made extraordinary progress and he has blossomed into a confident, curious and cuddly kitten. Toshi loves affection from both his foster family and other kittens or cats and loves having his cheeks rubbed. He often will seek out interaction with cats by head butting or rubbing against them. He has learned that being pet is fun and loves to be pet while he eats - he will even purr and make biscuits as he munches. Toshi prefers to eat in the company of a human. He is high energy and loves to play chase with whomever is around which often ends in a wrestling match - he is not intimidated by the older cats. He is an expert at bunny kicking while wrestling or with a plush cat toy. He is very fast and loves to run around chasing balls or springs thrown by his foster. Curiosity is another of Toshi’s traits - he is a nosy kitten who wants to know what you are doing, what is behind a closed door and especially what’s in the fridge! After all that activity, Toshi has learned that a warm lap is a great place for a snuggle and a nap. Be careful if you are under a blanket - Toshi loves to catch toes and give them a chomp. A high sided litter box is a must as Toshi takes his digging very seriously. If he is startled, Toshi will retreat under furniture but quickly comes to investigate. Toshi would need a calmer home with older children and an active kitten (perhaps Mishi) or older kitten friendly mentor cat to keep him entertained and continue his excellent progress.
