Burger is a handsome grey tabby boy with adorable white paws, a sweet white face, and a pink nose. When he first arrived in foster care, Burger was a cautious little guy who wasn't quite sure about trusting people. But just look at him now! He has blossomed into a big softie and continues to gain confidence every day. Pick Burger up and his motorboat purr starts almost immediately. While he isn't quite a traditional lap cat, he loves being close to his people and would much rather curl up beside you than on top of you. He'll gaze lovingly into your eyes while happily purring away. He also absolutely loves being brushed and has become much more comfortable with being picked up. Burger is a wonderfully goofy and energetic kitten. His play style can be a little rambunctious, especially for his much smaller sister, and his athletic leaps around the house are pretty impressive! He loves scratchers, dangling toys, racing around the house, and playing hide-and-seek with the resident senior cat in his foster home. He does exceptionally well with other cats and is confident about going right up to say hello after some initial hesitation. He is a little more cautious around dogs, but he settles in nicely when he realizes a dog isn't going to chase him. A calm, cat-savvy dog who respects his boundaries would likely be just fine. With new people, Burger may not be the first kitten racing to greet you at the door. Instead, you'll probably find him tucked into a cozy nap spot, where he'll happily accept pets and reward you with plenty of purrs. He's not a big fan of nail trims and can be a little squirmy, but he's never aggressive about it and doesn't try to swat or hiss. Burger has come such a long way since arriving in foster care, and we have no doubt he'll continue to blossom with his forever family. He's a silly, goofy little guy with a huge purr and a whole lot of personality, and he's going to grow into an exceedingly handsome cat. Burger would do best in a home with older children rather than very young kids, and he'd prefer a relatively calm household without lots of people constantly coming and going because he can have some escape artist tendencies. He must have another young cat companion in his forever home. He loves having a feline friend to play and cuddle with, and we think he'd be happiest with a playful young cat who can keep up with him. And one final warning: if you've had treats, Burger may try to lick your fingers. Apparently, treat dust is simply too delicious to waste. Burger has excellent litter habits and has been a wonderful little foster to have around. He's still discovering just how good life can be, and we're excited to see the confident, affectionate, ridiculously handsome cat he grows into.
